    Hey Ben,

    I’m assuming the answer is no, but it would be nice to get an email. I bought your book here, and also have used affiliate links of yours in your various articles and podcasts to support your site. When I bought your book there was to be an audio version downloadable that wasn’t ready. Is that in the plans? Has it been done, or is it scrapped? I’d like to get it if it’s available. Listening to audiobooks is all I have time for these days with 4 kids and abusiness of my own to tend to.

    Please let me know what the story is with respect to this.

    Hi Ben,

    This is not a review, rather a request. I couldn’t find a way to contact you. I bought this book of yours two years back and read it then, and it took a while to get through it all (4 kids, etc). At the time there was an offer for a free audio copy of the book, but it was not ready. I can still show proof of purchase. Is the audio version ready at this point? I’d love to go over it again, put it on my MP3, listen while I drive, etc.

    Love the book, but nothing is on the website anymore. I’d love to access all the great information Ben references but it’s not there. I’d love to see Ben’s results from the Nuclear Stress Test. I’ve been dealing with pain in my left chest (pectoral, primarily) which I’m fairly certain is musculoskeletal in nature, but I really want to get my heart fully checked out, and I don’t know what procedure to look for. I am at some level looking to compete in the crossfit games, but when I got a physical, I was disappointed by the very basic blood panel I received. Only checked cholesterol regarding heart stuff, and some very basic thyroid stuff regarding adrenal fatigue.

    Long story short is this, I was training twice a day, and used the sauna immediately after weightlifting. I was lifting in a fasted state, unfortunately, and basically, the sauna just “freaked me out.” I don’t know how else to describe. I just felt weird, fatigued, and then about an hour later, I had what I can only describe as a panic attack. Things got trippy. Everything was very intense and I just kept getting hit by these waves of weirdness.

    These conditions, though not as extreme, resulted in a few weeks of anxiety, odd days, paranoia about my heart and when I forced that out of my mind, paranoia in general. I don’t want to over state it, it felt mild over all, but just.. Trippy.

    After starting Beyond training, I realized I might be suffering from over-analyzed symptoms of adrenal fatigue, such as irritability, anxiety, and mood swings. Sure enough, when I stopped doing crossfit, and just started taking it easy, I eventually started feeling normal again. However, I still get these little twinges of pain in my chest, and today in my arm, and though they feel very musculoskeletal in nature, I want to know for sure where my heart is at, and rule out angina.

    I am 22 and very fit, but I’ve smoked cigars for the past few years (no longer, as of the recent episode) and this year I have been training a lot. After hearing Ben’s accounts of athletes damaging their hearts, I have decided I need to know where mine is at. I guess what I really wanted to know and look at is nuclear stress testing, because I can’t think of a more thorough way to see how my heart and arteries are doing.

    An updated training bible full of resources to be able to keep training, take advantage of training buildup, repair training damage, and so on. Every chapter is well supported and tackles the different body systems properly. Note, we do not need to implement all, just have a knowledge if something happens, there is a reason and there is something to do. Just go for it!
